from : Slovenia personal object : a purse from Thailand I bought this purse in 2015 along with another couple of souvenirs I intended to give to to a friend. I never saw her, so I kept them for myself. I then travelled to Cambodia. My purse reminds me of my travels and of that time. chosen artwork : Yellow Sky Milton Avery, 1958 The landscape in this painting reminds me of my travels - I love to travel! This serene landscape takes me back to Cambodia, on Koh Rong Island, where I stayed for two weeks. One day I hiked to the other side of the island. There are no villages or roads there – just a shore, long and white. I stayed the night in a hammock on the beach. |
