from : South Africa personal object : a titanium ring My treasured object is a titanium wedding ring. It reminds me of a promise, although it has now become a symbol of a broken promise because my ex-wife and I have since separated. chosen artwork : Gift Kenneth Noland, 1961-62 I have chosen this artwork because of the way it looks. The painting is geometric - like my ring, it is circular and it relates to the circular nature of life. I also find the title interesting because it also relates to my treasured object – a gift. |
