from : St Helens, UK personal object : migraine tablets I was prescribed these migraine tablets from my GP as I had a 9-week long migraine and the GP originally thought I was having a stroke. Now I take them everywhere I go and they provide me with comfort and relief just having them there. chosen artwork : Untitled I Cy Twombly, 1967 Apart from liking Twombly’s work generally, I chose this piece because it reminded me of etchings and aquatints I did years ago at art college. It also reminds me of some of the handwriting I try to decipher in my job as a tutor. |
