from : London, UK personal object : one of the many pairs of headphones in my house I never leave home without a pair of headphones - these particular headphones might not even be mine! Music has always been such a large aspect of my family’s life, so there are headphones all over our house. When someone leaves, they always grab the closest pair to them and go! Sharing, connecting to and listening to music has always been something we’ve done as a family and our shared pool of headphones is a great representation of that. chosen artwork : Chicago, Board of Trade II Andreas Gursky, 1999 I love being busy and loud. This picture feels like the best embodiment of these two things. I’m always looking forward to the next thing to do, or event, and nothing gets you through the quiet, in-between bits quite like headphones and something to listen to, be it music, an audiobook or podcast! |
