from : London, UK personal object : a bank receipt I used to throw away my account balance slips until my bank account was cloned. I now keep all my account balance receipts and I compost them. If someone wants to steal my details, then they will have to work really hard for it! I often find old receipts from months ago. chosen artwork : The Pilots’ Jetty , Le Havre, Morning, Cloudy and Misty Weather Camille Pissaro, 1903 I love the way Pissarro uses white. The colour seems to illuminate his paintings, giving them vibrancy – the same way white flowers bring a garden border to life. |
