personal object : a concert ticket

I am walking in the footsteps of The Beatles in Liverpool. I noticed on Tuesday evening that Sir Paul McCartney would be performing at LIPA* the next day. When I got there, many people were waiting; they all seemed to have a ticket except me. I waited patiently until everyone had gone in. A little group of people were there without a ticket. We were asked for our ID cards. I had left mine at the hotel so I showed them my credit card and they gave me a ticket and let me in! So, I saw my idol performing in his old school for the first time. It was a very special afternoon.
